Set of Five Imari Porcelain Plates with Geisha #1240
These square plates have a charming geisha motif. Reclining on her armrest and holding a fan, she displays a beautiful kimono and traditional hairdo. There are two repaired plates in the set, one of which was done with staples. the plates are slightly irregular in size and shape. Date from the Meiji or early Taisho period.
